Parties Page

Our parties are on Friday Nights from 8:00-11:00, guest are welcome, first timers are free unless it's a special function.

We encourage students to practice what they have learned as much as possible with different partners because everyone feels different. Dancing only with one person causes one not to be able to adapt [partner] to others in a social setting aswell as is considered rude and inconciderate to others wishing to dance.

The parties serve a multiple function, it allows us to see how students are learning, for us.Our parties are designed to be fun and relaxing, and for the aggressive dancers it can become very arobic. The dress is casual and on occasion dressy.Periodicly, costume parties are scheduled and winners for best dressed recieve bonus lessons.

Music is welcomed, preferable C.D.'s, at the parties. After checking most of the time the music is played. This is another of us staying abreast of new releases which are popular and concidered dancable.

As for set ups, we supple glasses, ice, coke, diet coke, sprite as refreshments or mixers.Off and on snacks are brought in by students being palite to others. Students birthdays and anniversaries are also celebrated in the same fashion , with a cake to top it off.

Above and beyond all, dancing has always ment to be enjoyment and fun and that's our first goal at the parties!!!!!!!!!!!!
